Asha & Brodie
The partnership has matured this season, with Asha continuing her good female role (and she loves nest-building) and Brodie being more reliable, both fishing and incubating.
The pair have fought their way thru all kinds of nasty weather - snow, wind and rain - and intruders, including the dreaded KL5 Klive, have been a nuisance but not dangerous...
so far.

EDIT
********
Sadly, the month of May heralded irresistible aggression from BlueKL5 "Klive", who had ruined the end of last season for the 2 juvies.
Within the first 2 days Klive had driven Brodie from the area (tho Brodie did return a couple of times to dive-bomb Klive, to no effect) and destroyed the eggs. He commenced to woo Asha clumsily, selfishly and inappropriately, as can be seen from the following pages.
IMAGICAT
12 July
Klive visited midday and evening - the reason the latter is so curtailed is cos he didn't do much and we had no zoom. Between the two visits, at about 16:05, the PTZ followed a bird in the sky - it was extremely difficult to make out, absolutely tiny and faint, so I've omitted it.
13 July
No activity whatsoever, including in old nest area on the nest cam, up to 05:12.
I haven't had time to check either cam today and probably won't be back until Wed, but Chat has nothing to report. No ospreys seen so far. Another grey day, but it doesn't appear to have rained! Both cams on the nest.
14.42 two crows on a tree behind the nest.

I ate something far too heavy at breakfast time and have been weighed down ever since
It did rain, several times, especially later in the day/evening - best seen via blurry blotches on the nest cam lens.
Early afternoon, a trio of Ravens*** "played" on a flat-topped tree - I've put the sound on - just lately I've got the knack of synchronising more easily but it may be a fluke. This is just a sample:
..
Was this our first day with no Ospreys whatsoever ??? ??? ???
***I decided they were Ravens after hearing their final vocalisations - and checking out some videos showing some of their amazing vocal range:

14 July
Klive had 2 sessions from 04:51 up to 08:45. (The cam had a pan around at 13:00, didn't find anyone.)
Love it, I also believe they’re ravens. And furthermore, I suspect they are fledglings hopefully waiting for a food drop from a parent, lol.

Thank you for your support (((CC)))
Emergency snap so I can pack up - Klive was on the nest for 2 hours from 19:37, no-one else seen.
Morning all. A brief pop in, with some sunshine and Klive!
09.30 PTZ work up, and found an osprey, which I believe was Klive, on the dead tree near the PTZ
A golden amber eye
A stretch and Klive shows his ring, confirming it is he!!
09.52 a last look around
09.53 Klive flew off
We were left with a long view of the nest, and no osprey in sight
10.45 no change
Thank you, SHEILA !!!
I'm in a right muddle and shan't be checking the cams till much, much later.
