Thank you for the happy news from Esthwaite, ALAN!
Thank you, RICHARD, for the heads-up from Foulshaw Moss. WhiteYW is looking well-fed and appropriately hormonal - he couldn't wait to get started on the nestorations but it's going to be a heavy job best left until well rested
I checked the 360 cam to make sure he didn't appear after flying from the nest.
IMAGICAT
25 March
YW's morning so far:
He managed to dig a stick out from under that matted mass of straw, which he'll be better able to spread out as a result
Nice to see White YW at work. Was that a wee yawn near the end! Lovely video thanks Scylla,
YW didn't spend much time on the nest for the rest of the day. He likes to perch almost out of sight on this post:
26 March
YW popped on 'n off with his headless breakfish, then much later in the day he returned to struggle with the heavy straw - he did bring in a couple of medium sticks after that.
BTW, I forgot to caption that when he's standing doing nothing looking out left, that represents a 10-minute pause in activity.
27 March
YW worked quite hard on the nestcup - I don't think these before and after snaps do him justice:
Last seen as he flew off @ 17:30:

Wonderful, GLIDER - it almost makes up for what I've been going thru with Clywedog - I do hope someone will see my plea in LotL.
