Our 3 thriving chicks almost adult sized with Harry and Flora. As of 01/07/23 the chicks are 42, 40 and 38 days old.

#3 had been alone on the nest for almost an hour
15.00 He started fish calling and flapping, getting ready to receive one
15.00 Harry flew in with a fish, accompanied by a very fast flying #2
Harry landed and #2 swerved over the nest to grab the fishHer shoulder went in as she (rugby) tackled #3 to push him out of the way. (twice)Somehow, #3 managed to grab the fish and keep hold of it.#3 enjoying his fish.I think #3 has come of age!
15.51 Intruder calling again from the two juveniles on the nest
15.52 Things quieten and one chick leaves. Then the intruder returns and Flora arrives. 16.05 The other chick has flown back16.06 Flora leaves
19.44 One juvenile is on the nest, #2 I think. She sees Harry incoming with a fish and so does #3 who lands next to #2.
#2 not too happy about the competition and lunges at #3
19.44 Harry arrives with a flatfish #2 collects it
19.49 #1 completes the trio and settles on the perch. #2 still mantling as she eats her fish.
There was a steal of the 19.44 fish at 20.18.
#3 snatched it from #2
20.50 #3 finishing the fish off.
Monday 31 July There have been 4 small fish deliveries today so far. The first three from Harry and the 4th from Flora. Edit, fish #2 was Flora Times were 06.13, 06.32, 09.24 and 10.35. #1 got the first two, #3 the third and #2 the 4th. Edit:- I now believe #3 got the fourth fish.

FISH 1 06.13 from Harry
#1 took the fish#1 warned off its two siblings after collecting the fish.
After eating for a little while, #1 flew up to the perch then away with the fish

#1 got it again
Again, #1 flies off with the fish.

#1 and 2 went to Harry first then #3 did a late dive in and got the fish

I think it was #3 who was sitting alone on the nest in the pouring rain. Flora almost arrived unnoticed, #3 was late in getting up.
He quickly took Flora’s foot then the fish
10.50 #1 joins him.

2 juveniles on the nest
There’s a bit of a tangle
and again, Flora and a juvenile fall off the edge of the nest with the fish.
The other juvenile watches and is still fish calling
The fallen juvenile returns to the nest. Looks like it is #2.
Flora is seen flying away so she’s okay too thank goodness.
What a shame. I think #2 was overly excited in getting her first fish of the day. It was a good sized one too.
It’s been pretty miserable weather today. The juveniles have had a good soaking.
A bit drier now. The juveniles are fish calling. No deliveries since the one that went overboard at 13.03
Well I’ve scrolled back and forward as slowly as I could and couldn’t find another fish delivery.
