NC0 surprised us all when she arrived back at Lowes first, with Laddie making his initial landing exactly 6 hours later. She laid her three beautiful eggs after almost near-perfect, precise intervals of 72 hours between each one. Both Laddie and NC0 have regularly exchanged incubation duties and have been very attentive to protect their eggs, and nest, from multiple intrusions during April. The hatching window will open around the 10th May, all being well.

Aww, baby’s first portrait! Lovely Scylla.
Good evening Everyone.
I'm so appreciative for all of the pics, comments and vids posted today - thank you just doesn't seem enough
A zoomed pic of Laddie taken from 7:30ish this morning (thanks Glider) - looks like a scrape?
Laddie landing at 15:30 (thanks Karen) . Pic taken at 0.25 speed. Appears to be clear here?
He flew off a couple of minutes later after that pic but was back at 15:39, as reported by Karen

You're welcome Sandra. Just wish we could have told you of a fish (or two) delivery but tomorrow is another day
That would have been the icing on the cake, Karen. I think it would be more worrying if Laddie wasn't around, so it is good that he's been at the nest and now knows that there's an extra beak to feed. :)
Hi everyone, I went back to when Karen got her snap at 15.30 and tried to get one too. It’s unfortunate that the resolution isn’t higher and the screen pixelates around the moment of Laddie landing and clarity isn’t good. However, I took some snaps at low speed as well and got this -
You can see with his tail feathers how low quality the sharpness is and can therefore mask what is there.
It may show an injury or may be the pixelation but the fact that the pinkness is in the same area makes me think he’s had an injury of some sort.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Unless I'm not looking in the right place, I can't find any confirmation from LotL that there is a pip in a 2nd egg? The white egg is #3 (33 days since being laid)

I've had a look around, hoping to add support or clarification, but as you say in not so many words, Glider, it ain't easy!
Note the tint under Laddie's left wing here:
And later, almost no tint showing in the "injury" area - but there's a lens smudge:
I give up.
On the bright side, what lovely pics we do get when they zoom in on Asha and her clutch/brood.
