After the tragedy of 2021, the 2022 Season was a great success, with 3 beautiful youngsters fledging and migrating - Blue 497, 498 and 499 (courtesy of Glider):
Here's to the safe return of our precious pair, MrsG (thank you MaryGK for the original snap) and Aran:

Today, this year's indispensable volunteers gathered to give us a Group Wave, and I thought we should pay tribute to them here:
(How sparse this seems for a season OP - but it's all I've got to give. I think we need the new thread sooner rather than later, being mindful of the likelihood of Dovey Devils and/or Clywedog Kids swooping in )
IMAGICAT
08 April evening - Aran with supper, he later took it to the perch, then he was on the nest, then he was gone:
09 April
Early activity, ending with a successful mating - I think!
Poor Heather, trying to find us unobscured views!
There have since been toings and froings, must be by Aran but I can only see a small glary pic from here. One is currently on the fence, can't tell which from back view... oh it's the female, Aran just brought a stick.
Aran has been reinvigorated
It’s lovely to see Friday’s visitor back again today. Aran’s trying hard to impress, he did a sky dance for her around 07.22

Thank you, Glider - I forgot to mention that :)))

Hi Scylla, there’s so much going on and we’re all very hopeful. I love your photo of Aran with his supper behind the lichen covered branches.
Oh dear, I've changed my mind about this girl. Poohs in the nest . Doesn't allow Aran to mate after providing a fish (even if it was on the small side, it was whole.)
Does little in the nest that makes me feel she's regarding it as home.
Aran, I think you can do better. You're a stunner and a wonderful provider for your family. Don't lose heart Aran and don't settle for second best.
I'm not keeping up with all events here but just witnessed an attempted mating on the perch - during which she was totally unresponsive, she didn't even try to flick him off - inexperienced, CIRRUS?

Another try, and this time it looked successful in the end.
I'm absolutely sure Scylla, a babe - especially about the poohing. All osplets see their parents defecating correctly and do so themselves as juveniles so what is it with this otherwise lovely girl. Aran , in my opinion, needs a mate a little more 'grown up' please.
