Super photos Clare. I have very intimate wood pigeons on my fence far too often!!!!! They do hoover up the seeds the sparrows throw around though so that is good.

I've been busy with usual chores. Dau#1 came to check that her father has recovered from his fall. She's pleased girls are back at school and she has peace for some hours!
I hope all those unwell have recovered.

Good morning, all. I'm pleased to say I'm much better, and so is Helen. Limpy would also be much better if he weren't so exhausted - this has really taken it out of him. Still, he's needed no doctor and no hospital so we know the jabs work!

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

The only thing bothering me is that Helen has had to go back to work (in an office) - and she's still coughing. I can see more people going sick in the very near future.

Clare. That is good news. I am sorry that Limpy is still feeling so tired. It is understandable though and I do hope he comes round soon. I am NEGATIVE today. Hooray. To celebrate I am going for a little gentle birdwatching. I can be home in 20 minutes if I go to feel too tired.
