Our Osprey family
"Axel", Blue AX6(16) male (yes he does have strong chest markings), a single chick (possibly from 3 eggs) hatched Glen Affric, near Beauly, seen Lossiemouth 2020, then at LG in 2021
"Asha"- Female - Unringed - partnered Axel in 2021.
Axel & Asha (as "Mistle") fled the nest May 2021 due to unknown intruders.

HATCH #2 - 13 June @ 04:11 (first sighting)
AT RINGING - Quote RSPB Abernethy Facebook "The male BLUE 1C2 is thought to be the older one at 1.5kgs with the female BLUE 1C1 being the younger one at 1.5kgs."

18.30 someone was on the stick/tattoo tree, 1C1 was on the nest calling. 18.24 1C2 calling from where 18.36 that osprey flew from the stick tree 18.37 Asha landed on the perch, followed by 1C2 both calling. 18.52 1C2 calling loudly, and he had the only fish delivered today! 18.58 Asha warns of incoming fish. Axel lands #2 FISH. Mayhem. Asha lifts off briefly, Axel departs leaving 1C2 to claim the second fish of the day. Ash stood at the back of the nestwith hunched shoulders., while her son grabbed the fish. 19.03 1C2 is tucking into the fish like a pro

Very sorry but I've been so out of sorts today (and much of y'day too) that I can't contribute at the moment, I've got several tasks on the go but cannot complete.
Mom's on dead tree chicks on nest at 6. 45 am

1c2 he is back at 7.40 am
