Things continued to go well at the beginning of June and on the 4th, we celebrated a record nine fish delivery day from Laddie. During the following week, the number of fish brought to the nest took a sudden decline and with this, we witnessed chick #3 befalling to sibling aggression - first from chick #1 and then chick #2. Very sadly, this then led to the dear Osplet being blocked from getting close to NC0 for feeding. Devastatingly, after a very early fish delivery on the morning of the 15th June, the middle chick subjected the youngest to a severe attack from which, in its weakened state, it could not get up from. The little one passed away on the nest a few hours later at the age of 23 days old.
Soar high and free, brave #3 - you will always be remembered...
Subsequent to the passing of the youngest chick, fish deliveries from Laddie began to increase with him even outdoing his previous record by bringing an amazing ten to the nest on a single day. NC0 made her first dive from the split birch (since the chicks had hatched) on the 24th June and brought her catch back to the nest, much to the surprise of the chicks! The youngsters have continued to grow at an amazing rate and, on the evening of the 27th June - at the ages of 39 and 37 days old respectively - they were ringed. Their genders could not be determined. A milestone for the chicks was observed on the evening of the 29th June when both self-fed and the following day, LR0 showed its strength of character to successfully claim two fish!Hopefully, LP8 and LR0 will continue to do well and that we will witness their successful fledges this month.

LR0 fledges
This video stays Unlisted until vetted by SANDRA !!!
The "fledge" was up to the campost but LR0 obviously didn't stay there because it returned from our left - see NC0 and LP8 for the evidence
EDIT

You weren't there when I started, SANDRA - I just needed you to confirm ID 100% - sometimes I don't believe my own eyes
IMAGICAT
ID 100% correct, Scylla! Fab video showing LR0 returning to the nest which did indeed confirm it had fledged! Thank you!!
Still awaiting official confirmation from Lowes
Laddie delivered a fish at 15:13ish, LP8 quick to claim it. NC0 was screeching on the cam post at the time!
LP8 took the fish to the back of the nest, LR0 attempted to take it and there was a bit of a tussle as LP8 still had it gripped in its talons
LR0 successfully won that battle
LR0 ate all of the fish.
16:20 Laddie has just delivered another, NC0 claimed it. LP8 not on the nest
16:33 LP8 returned to the nest perch
LP8 attempted to take the fish from NC0 but no, mum was going to do the feeding!
17:17 A dive from the birch and successful catch by NC0. LP8 on the perch, LR0 somewhere else!
17:25 ENS!
18:00 NC0 fish calling on the birch. LP8 on the perch and I've heard movement on the cam post, I assume that's LR0
18:49 LR0 back to the nest after leaving the cam post on the right (head movements from LP8 and NC0 followed LR0 as it was out of cam view)
19:39 Laddie with a whopper of a headless fish! LP8 not on the nest. LR0 took it and barged NC0 away who in turn knocked into Laddie!
