Congratulations on the new member of the family OG - what an unusual name.

I looked it up, LYNETTE - it's a biblical name, from the Old Testament.

Good Morning. Dull here and sadly it doesn't look as if we've had much of the expected rain for the garden. I've got lots to do indoors today anyway as h.work seems to be piling up. It helps that my OH does most of the hoovering, but today I must mop the hard floors as the dust bunnies are coming out!

Hope things go well for you  Lynette, with the procedure. Glad your family can help.

Lindy - your garden is lovely. Thank you for the photos. Good luck with the housework. It’s not my favourite thing to do either.
I am going with some friends to Cemlyn on Anglesey to see the tern colony today. I am very much looking forward to it. We have planned coffee and lunch stops!!! Essential in my opinion!!!

OG - Good that you are planning a day out for Js birthday. My middle daughter took a week off from work, with covid but is still feeling tired all the time.

It does seem common for people to feel as if covid has taken the stuffing out of them afterwards, Heather. I was just reading an article also, on how a lot of us are claiming "brain fog" these days. They said that there are a lot of causes besides having had the virus - a few people seem to have muddled thinking and memory loss even though to their knowledge, they didn't catch covid.

The causes can be hormonal (us ladies) or the stress encountered during these last two uncertain years. It was found that as most people had major changes in routine, their brains overloaded with the extra work involved as we thrive on routines, apparently, where we do things automatically and don't need to think about it.
