All quiet on the Osprey front. Mistle started gently food soliciting, then quiet, then stood up to reveal.........
,, what appeared to be a half eaten rainbow trout! No doubt Scylla will be able to get a much sharper image than me. All this happened about 5:45. It was as stiff as a board. When was that delivered?
Afrer faffing around getting images 1 of them has come back to the nest and is incubating - can't tell which.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

I'm not going to watch that, then. Shall take a nap instead.

CRinger said:Have suggested to Roy that if he rings these chicks then he might want to sat tag 1 of them ........... if RSPB agree....... and that he will get HUGE interest on his site following either Bob1 or Bob 2, Awaiting his reply.
Isn't there going to be some tagging this year as part of "Conservation without Borders" ?

I relented, so here's a video showing some of each of the 2 evening feeds.
Please tell me if I've got the IDs right/wrong - I've made it unlisted so I don't humiliate myself in front of the whole world: I think #1 has a more muscular, darker neck.
(Talking of humiliation - a YouTuber commented on my title "morning get-go" with "Get-go - you can do better than that". I have not responded but it stings when someone takes the trouble to be nasty. Anyway, get-go is a handy 6-character word to fit into YT's restrictions, so there!)

At 03:00 Mistle got up and fed herself for a good few minutes, then fed one of the chicks that stayed lying down - couldn't tell which. This is very "enhanced":
Mistle's had some flyabouts - looks like she got herself wet for the sake of this little bunch of carp:
Around 05:30 Windows switched off my internal network again and I had to reboot all laptops, but I don't think anything significant was missed.
