Just as we had hoped, the middle of May proved to be a wonderful time with three successful hatches. Laddie, with his prolific fishing skills, is providing extremely well for his family and NC0’s attentive feeding for all three Osplets, is an absolute joy to watch! Let's hope everything continues to go well.

Checking through scroll back. NC0 defended the nest this morning at approximately 11:10, even giving chase over the Loch after an intruder landed on the birch
. There have been 6 further fish deliveries that I could find since my post this morning (all are -ish times)
11:27
14:05
15:30
16:00 (as reported by Scylla)
16:25 NC0 was finishing off the previous delivery. She attempted to take this one from Laddie's talons but instead, he flew off with it (maybe his talons were still embedded in it)
17:28 Raindrops on the cam blocked the view of this one

At present, NC0 is on her diving branch of the birch.
She left the nest to land there at 19:12

20:13 NC0 flapped down to the nest from the cam post
20:25 She must have known that heavy rain was on its way
There was a headless fish delivery from Laddie at 20:41 (#9)
26 June
What a misty morning - for hours!
Then I did a video and if you see a non-sequitur it's because... I'm not sure... Not seen Laddie yet.
IMAGICAT
Good morning all, Laddie delivered a fish at 8:42 and another at 8:49. NC0 had only just finished the first feed when Laddie brought the second fish to the nest

Silent mantling from NC0
#2 (behind #1) attempted to take the fish from NC0's talons

Excitable, high-pitched squeals from NC0 at 12:20 denoted the arrival of fish #4 - a much larger (headless?) one this time
#2, on the left, and #1 were ready for their next meal
When the chicks were full, NC0 finished off the small piece remaining and swallowed the fish tail at 12:48
