Just as we had hoped, the middle of May proved to be a wonderful time with three successful hatches. Laddie, with his prolific fishing skills, is providing extremely well for his family and NC0’s attentive feeding for all three Osplets, is an absolute joy to watch! Let's hope everything continues to go well.

NC0 changed her position to feed the chicks
She fed a piece to #2...
#1 wasn't happy about that and showed aggression towards #2
#2 was allowed and did join in with the feed
When the fish had all gone, NC0 fish called extremely loudly - I thought another one was on its way to the nest! Laddie and a fish didn't arrive.
15:38 NC0 silently pancaked the nest (several times) and was extremely alert while looking around. Laddie could be heard chipping/alarm calling in the distance
She spread her wings

That looked like a nice brown trout delivered at around 22.03. Laddie flew in so quickly, I couldn’t get a clear in flight capture!
Evening (and early morning) flight captures are so hard to get, wings and fish come out as a blur! Many thanks for the fish delivery info, Glider
Goooood morning!
What a horrid tech night, with multi Wilndows updates disrupting me and this site on a go-slow starting at 03:00...
Anyway, a while ago I noticed an intrusion, but by the time I was able to access the recording I was so fed up I didn't edit it properly so you've got a blatant chop in the middle:
IMAGICAT
Good morning Scylla and all
Thanks for the vid. I wonder if it was the same intruder that was hanging around yesterday morning and is still about today?
Anyway, it was unringed
Still awaiting the first fish of the day
