Just as we had hoped, the middle of May proved to be a wonderful time with three successful hatches. Laddie, with his prolific fishing skills, is providing extremely well for his family and NC0’s attentive feeding for all three Osplets, is an absolute joy to watch! Let's hope everything continues to go well.

22:47 NC0 has just removed dear #3 from the nest. She carried its body around the birch corner and out of view
She returned back to the nest, from that direction, a few minutes after...

Very much so, Korky...
Richard B
Morning Richard and all,
It was a decent sized headless fish from Laddie
#1 received a lot of the fish at the start, #2 held back but took an occasional bite that was offered
NC0 concentrated on #2 after #1 had turned away
Evidently there has already been 2 fish this morning First some time after 4. Currently NC0 hunkered down over chicks as much as possible as its wet and windy again
Morning Patily, thank you
4:20ish It was a 'live' fish from Laddie. It flapped between the chicks but NC0 managed to retrieve it
Yes, Richard, good to see NC0 eating for herself too.
From scroll back, Laddie delivered a headless fish just before 9am
A large, whole fish was brought to the nest by Laddie at 13:05ish
