AX6 Axel and his lovely unringed partner Mistle are bonding well, and Mistle has been threatening to lay an egg - we await developments.
It seems that Mistle has been on the perch & nest all night:

Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Axel is screaming to get the rest of the fish back. Either that or to have a break from incubation. Personally, I think it's the first choice. They both have a healthy set of lungs...
She brought it back, but he's afraid to take it, and she tried to take off with it but it's stuck in the sticks! He's gone. And she's eating the fish on the nest!
