Around that time, on the wide-angle cam, 35 was on the post up again the left edge and YW was on the nest looking at the osplets.

There seem to be a lot of flies on the nest

I don't think there has been news from Esthwaite? I went there today and there is just the one chick hatched, on the 25/06. It looks fine and was being fed. They usually raise three chicks, Jim suggested that the greater amount of intrusions at critical times could be the reason. The downside of there being more ospreys around!
