5F Seren hatched at nest K, Rutland, from parents Red 08 (m) and Yellow 30 (f). Chris Wood, who volunteers at the Rutland osprey project, has been following her for at least 7 years to Tanji Marsh in the Gambia. She has been at this nest with Dylan since 2020, after suffering abandonment by bigamist Aran at Pont Croesor.
Seren returned on 26 March 2022.
Dylan is unringed, he's been breeding at this nest since 2016, when he ousted dear Dai Dot.

This fish was very difficult to see, and as I haven't been following events without a break I can't say if it's a new fish or, more likely, one that Dylan took away and brought back - it was definitely headless when I saw a bit of it in Seren's talons:
Gosh! according to chat there has been ANOTHER hatch Don't know the time
Hatch #2 - but not a very good view, and after this video Seren kept the chicks well protected from the rain - maybe we'll see them in full view when supper arrives:
Unknown said:Dylan brought a brown trout at 6.53, but any feeding has been with 5F's back to the camera so little seen on screen.
Thank you for the tip-off, AG - saves me a lot of time and angst!

But I missed the first 4 hours of the evening changeover, so have had to struggle with YT rollback to find Dylan bringing back the fish *sweat 'n fret*.
He'd eaten a good portion of it, and again we didn't see the feed - but once I saw Seren insert herself between us and them, I didn't proceed, it just takes me too long - note that others are not as incompetent with rollback as I am!
Nothing significant seen overnight.
Seren returning from comfort break this morning:
Mornng get-go, far too long, maybe someone will need the fix of seeing hit-'n-miss feedings of very new osplets... ???
The corvids sound very close, but so do the sheep - the microphone is rivalling LotL's
Since then, Dylan has been in more than once, I think - whilst editing I noticed him eating and looking as tho he'd like Seren to take a bite. Have to break off now.
