5F Seren hatched at nest K, Rutland, from parents Red 08 (m) and Yellow 30 (f). Chris Wood, who volunteers at the Rutland osprey project, has been following her for at least 7 years to Tanji Marsh in the Gambia. She has been at this nest with Dylan since 2020, after suffering abandonment by bigamist Aran at Pont Croesor.
Seren returned on 26 March 2022.
Dylan is unringed, he's been breeding at this nest since 2016, when he ousted dear Dai Dot.

Unknown said:Yes Sandra great news about 551. He was the noisiest youngster ever, but was brave - he fledged a day earlier than 552 who had hatched 2 days before him. He also did an away-day (&night) trip as a juvenile before he left on migration. in 2020. Seren 5F's first returner - let's see when the next one arrives.
Thanks for the information, AG, he's a very determined Osprey!
Please see previous page for Colin A's super capture of Blue 551(20) at Dyfi today

Clywedog is back - Dylan is incubating:
EDIT - Oh no! It's buffering again. I thought it must have been fixed because I'd been recording the Blue Tit box and it suddenly changed itself back to Clywedog.
Clywedog seems to be back on-line - has been running fine for the last 20 minutes. Breezy and overcast.
EDIT Just started buffering again 14.03
Unknown said:all should now be OK.
It wasn't - in more ways than one
In the early hours Seren took a bathroom break and - I think - crash-landed on her return, sending the nest into a turmoil !!!
I've shortened lots of the buffering.
Very recently the buffering has lessened but it's still at it. Seren is looking OK, thank goodness.
A short video to show that Seren looks fine - buffering persists but not in this footage.
