5F Seren hatched at nest K, Rutland, from parents Red 08 (m) and Yellow 30 (f). Chris Wood, who volunteers at the Rutland osprey project, has been following her for at least 7 years to Tanji Marsh in the Gambia. She has been at this nest with Dylan since 2020, after suffering abandonment by bigamist Aran at Pont Croesor.
Seren returned on 26 March 2022.
Dylan is unringed, he's been breeding at this nest since 2016, when he ousted dear Dai Dot.

Naturally I had to do my own "Dyla's return", got it from YT rollback:
FISH !!! But Dylan is still competitive, they both took off with it! Cam2 was in a long-term buffer at the time, I've checked on rollback and it's missing.
Another horrible day gets under way with a successful mating:
Seren's been in 'n out a couple of times - has she seen an intruder? She's staying down asI type:

Pity I couldn't get Dylan in but this was the unfuzziest view of the good headless fish - Seren flew with it right away:
I'm switching off Cam2 before packing up because it's been buffering/dropping out so frequently.

Yes, as did Dylan, who's spending a lot of chilling time sitting out on the marsh.
Here was an intrusion but we couldn't see a culprit - it didn't look too serious - then Dylan flew back in for a successful mating:
Seren has been "expecting" a fish for ages, hope she gets one before dark!
Early-ish today:
Evening sun:
Seren seemed to be fish calling but Dylan hadn't gone fishing - he came good for supper tho:
