I think this will be an interesting season at Loch Arkaig - who is going to take residence is the big question?
For me it doesn't matter who, just as long as the nest is occupied.

Some exciting news this morning from Liz B: Sarafina’s been seen trying to fish! With the confirmed sighting of the Poole Harbour chick 5H1 sighted attempting to fish recently, we might need to re-write the rule books. It never seemed logical to me that chicks would wait til on migration to learn - much more logical they’d start practising while dad was around to deliver guaranteed meals.
