06.21.02 Sarafina departs with her fish
06.29.46 A Mistle Thrush lands on the perch, stays a moment then departs, Hoodies arrive soon after.
19.05.43 Fish number two, huge mackerel
19.30 And thereby hangs a tail! Sarafina swallows the tail, does a bit of beak feaking, poses looking absolutely magnificent, and then departs. Will we see her tomorrow?
Saturday 3rd September - Still here! Hoodies turned up on the nest, and Sarafina arrived to see them off.
08.22 Pesky Hoodies! Actually tweak her tail feathers.
09.11.56 Fish number one, whole mackerel
13.51.28 Fish number two, flatfish
16.30.45 Plenty of pretty Passerines: Coal, Great, Blue and Long-Tailed Tits
17.41.44 A third fish, another flatfish, arrives but Sarafina is constantly harassed by a Hoodie. Unusually, she sticks it out and eats the flatfish on the nest.
This edited video clip starts with Sarafina's very fast flypast at 17.35, and ends at 19.13 after she's seen off the Hoodie.
