I think this will be an interesting season at Loch Arkaig - who is going to take residence is the big question?
For me it doesn't matter who, just as long as the nest is occupied.

There've been a couple of alarms this morning, Louis calling in the distance, Dorcha flying off the nest in a big hurry - maybe that's why she's waiting? She has so nearly gone several times! Then stopped at the last minute and had a little lie down - think I might need one too!
First mackerel of the year arrives on the Loch Arkaig Osprey nest then leaves in alarm! Louis drops it and departs. Dorcha grabs it but then hears Louis calling in the distance and takes off with the fish, calling as she goes
Two more fish arrived yesterday, and there was another beautiful sunset. The views from nest cam really are outstanding
