'3:25pm H up, quick peek at E21, 3:27pm H back to incubating and brooding, no views of Egg 2 pip'

Currently on-screen - very busy egg-tooth.  I was hoping the early pip meant we'd have 2 closely-aged chicks, but no :(((

E21 was out in the cold for nearly 15 minutes while Harriet faffed with the egg in the dark:

I haven't looked for the actual hatch:

Oh my, this seems so reminiscent of Nora at Dyfi. She had to practise her feeding technique at the side of the nest .

Vain hope - I've shut down the cam on my watching screen.

I used to "take pride" in showing the bad along with the good, but just can't steel myself any more, it really does hurt.
