CAPTIVA OSPREYS - Andy & Lena
I'd been posting in "Forum Friends", here's a snap brought over, for the sake of starting this thread with something!
IMAGICAT
Sadly following the good news of Arkaig Osprey Willow's sighting, it's not looking good for Tweed Valley's Glen. There's been no further data since 09.13 yesterday 25th, and his tracker is now showing greyed out. Local people are looking for him, will keep you posted.

Oh no - but thank you for the news, Geemeff
Glen update - not good. There's been no further data since 09.13 yesterday 25th, and his tracker is now showing greyed out. I've emailed the local police in Portugal who have agreed to look for him. There is an outside chance he's injured but sadly more likely dead. They've agreed to look for him, recover the body or get him to a vet. He crossed a railway line and also flew low where there are many high voltage pylons before landing on the fruit factory roof. I'm whatsapping with Di Bennet at Tweed Valley. Will keep you posted.

Good news on Glen. Tiger just posted this on Facebook
Glen was over the ocean and is safe in Africa

I couldn't believe it when I checked the tracker early this morning after 48 hours of checking every four hours and getting more despondent. When I whatsapped Di Bennet at Tweed Valley she was equally amazed and we decided to hold off until the next data download to be certain before making the announcement that Glen had reappeared Lazarus-like in Morocco. Flew far out over the Atlantic Ocean - no ship ride this time - and arrived in Khnifiss Bio Reserve where he rested and fished. Simply astonishing. What a bird! 36 hours flying over the Atlantic! Go Glen!
A local contact made by Sacha Dench and the #FOTO team is trying to find him. He's rested for 12 hours after his epic flight and has just moved a short distance since the 13.13 UTC+2 data download. Latest position at 17.13 UTC+2
Just to say, no wonder the lovely local police at Caldas de Rainha couldn't find his body at the fruit factory - Glen had taken himself off! They've been given the happy news and said it was their pleasure to help.
