Happy to say, Glen is moving around, and his battery's up at 100%. This was at 22.13 UTC+3 (UK time +2)

The situation is still tense. #2 is getting enough food, barely maybe, but is pecked really bad at times and must be very cautious at feeding time.

Hopefully mum will go catch her own fish soon.. the oldest is a bottomless pit where food is concerned, and is becoming a very strong and beautiful Osprey.

It is a very interesting nest to watch, even though it is hard at times. It makes you realize how many factors play a role into successful fledging

The past few days all is going well. The food is good, the fighting has stopped (but for the occasional peck) and both osplets are thriving.

This morning they had their funny walk.. flapping their wings and walking on their talons is a bit hard yet

Just saw this on Seaside Oregon YouTube site about the Captiva, Florida Osprey nest and their female Lena:
"2:43 PM Mari M Hello everybody. The Osprey pole is up ind Captiva!Lori just posted it on Instagram. Connor will attach the camera on November 4th"
And:
"3:04 PM Mari M As soon as the Pole stood, Lena was there with a branch"

I went looking for that yesterday but couldn't find it  Thanks for the info, it's good to hear that Lena's still OK.  As for Andy, he'd been missing since before the hurricane.

Here's a snap I took from the 2 Port Lincoln chicks a couple of days ago - "We're being watched!"

This video update (about15 minutes long) was posted on the 29th by Connor from Window to Wildlife regarding the Bald Eagle and Osprey nests on Captiva Island, Florida: www.youtube.com/watch . By the time I watched the video it already had 909 views! They will have to replace at least one camera on the Osprey nest and rebuild the eagle nest completely but he is feeling more optimistic than on his previous visit. He says that the landowner, Lori, is prioritising the restoration of the nests over repairing her own damaged house! Luckily, the upper floor of her house (which has the living quarters) is mostly ok, but the lower floor has more damage.
