Tweed Valley: The UK Osprey site states that the male, Blue PW3(16), arrived back on the 16th April

Tweed Valley have confirmed that the male, PW3, arrived on 16th April. The previous male was unringed. Egg which was laid has disappeared. Mrs O wasn't interested in it."

Many thanks for the update from Tweed Valley, Alan. Good to know that last season's pairing are now reunited.

One was sitting in the nestcup at startup and stayed nearly 20 minutes after that:

The cam cut off a few minutes after that and I got 2 more clips.

Towards the end of the day the nestcup had been made very cosy and there was a lot of sitting in it:

I couldn't see an egg,and because of the jerkiness of the stream it's difficult to identify egg-turning behaviour.  If an egg was laid today it wouldn't be unusual for itto be left uncovered for long periods.

Does anyone know if we have an egg at the substation, looks possible, or due one.

Cathy I took a screenshot this morning - I think she definitely has an egg - and it could have been laid around that time.

How did you find this nest Am I right in thinking Alyth is roughly same areaas Lowes

It is near to Blairgowrie and less than 20 miles from the city of Dundee. Ian
