From little 'fluff balls' to almost fully grown ospreys, LR1 and LR2 are doing amazingly well all thanks to the fantastic ongoing care from NC0 and Laddie (LM12). Not only have we seen Laddie providing fish for his family but NC0 has been successful several times just recently as well - what first-class parents they are! There continues to be the occasional intrusion from ospreys passing through, however, the nest and chicks have been protected outstandingly. We look forward to the next exciting phase in the young ospreys' development.
LR2 is on the nest at present, occasionally fish calling

Only 2 other fish deliveries as far as I can tell.
LR2 didn't eat until around 13:25 when Laddie brought one to the nest. LR2 had been on (and off) the nest quite a lot waiting for a meal
13:50
He was still tucking in when LR1 came to the nest at 14:00
He walked away from the fish soon after allowing LR1 to take over
I didn't hear anything untoward but both shot off the nest at the same time, just after 14:05. LR1 (left) took the fish with her
16:10ish A headless fish from NC0 (she was on the birch with it) - LR1 was on the nest waiting. She took the fish from NC0 and then flew off with it
17:55 A very quick headless fish delivery from Laddie. He alarm called and flew off the nest after LR2 had taken it from him
17:59 LR1 joined LR2 on the nest
19:24 Lots of exciting calls, especially from LR1 (centre of nest), but were disappointed when Laddie flew in with a stick and not a fish as they'd been expecting
Laddie left in haste

20:23 Fish delivery from Laddie which LR1 claimed
LR2 was having none of that and went for a successful steal
He'd swallowed the fish tail 10 minutes after Laddie's delivery
WendyBartter said:Frightened for his life! Lol
Lol! The way LR2 (at the back of the nest) jumped at him, I don't blame him, Wendy!
21:03 A 'live' fish from Laddie. LR1 managed to grab it before LR2
21:12 LR2 having a doze while LR1 eats her supper
21:21 LR1 and LR2 were on the nest, Laddie flew close as if he was bringing in a fish but went over to the birch where NC0 was already on her branch
He landed
A little while after that, both he and NC0 made their way back over towards the nest
He flew straight past the left side of the nest, NC0 landed on the perch
NC0 took off and landed on her branch on the birch, LR1 left the nest shortly after her mum and went to the far left of the birch, out of view
No fish was delivered and a waiting LR2 finally flew off the nest at 21:37ish
21:43 LR1 made a brief appearance on the perch...
...before heading to the birch area and landing in a tree to the left of it (marked with a purple dot)
