From little 'fluff balls' to almost fully grown ospreys, LR1 and LR2 are doing amazingly well all thanks to the fantastic ongoing care from NC0 and Laddie (LM12). Not only have we seen Laddie providing fish for his family but NC0 has been successful several times just recently as well - what first-class parents they are! There continues to be the occasional intrusion from ospreys passing through, however, the nest and chicks have been protected outstandingly. We look forward to the next exciting phase in the young ospreys' development.
FLEDGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 17:09 I don't know where LR1 headed off to as the cam froze!

Good Evening Everyone should've been good afternoon been trying to post since 2 pm now sympathise totally with you Scylla.
Thank you all for the fantastic updates throughout the season and especially to you Sandra. Much appreciated.
A visit to Scotland incomplete without a trip to see the Ospreys! So we headed to LOL..... lol! Got a slot 12 to 1.15 pm and saw the phenomenal Laddie fly across with a fish, head off out of site to eat head, then deliver to nest. He then sat on birch for a good while to let us get a pic or two or three..
LR2 flapping like mad on launch pad looking like she was ready for the off!
Will post pics afterwards as keep losing all the narrative!!
She came back to the nest but no landing seen as the cam had frozen. One second she wasn't there, then the LS pixelated and she was back on the nest. She was away for around 1 minute. NC0 was alarm calling/chipping after landing on the post above the cam
Well done LR1 on your maiden flight!!
Laddie on birch to left
Fantastic news - thanks Sandra! And LAM - brilliant you have managed to visit Lowes. Hope you had a great day and look forward to seeing any news / photos you have to share.
