From little 'fluff balls' to almost fully grown ospreys, LR1 and LR2 are doing amazingly well all thanks to the fantastic ongoing care from NC0 and Laddie (LM12). Not only have we seen Laddie providing fish for his family but NC0 has been successful several times just recently as well - what first-class parents they are! There continues to be the occasional intrusion from ospreys passing through, however, the nest and chicks have been protected outstandingly. We look forward to the next exciting phase in the young ospreys' development.
IMAGICAT
Nothing really much has happened at the nest today.
Laddie delivered a fish around 9:50
A brief unseen intrusion an hour or so later
LR1 and LR2 have spent the afternoon either resting or wingercising as far as I can tell

17:10 NC0 alarm calling/mantling
Calm again at 17:14
17:18 Fish from Laddie (appeared to be headless)
LR1 attempted to steal it but NC0 managed to keep her talons well and truly gripped in the fish
Two 'live' and flapping fish deliveries within 8 minutes from Laddie
20:04 The fish flapped in the middle and over to the left side before NC0 could grab it
20:11 The second one wasn't eaten as it flapped over the right side of the nest
The cam has been mini-freezing - I've just been watching it on-screen and there have been downloads only a few seconds long but the latest re-pick-up is nearly 3 hours long, so it's coping.
Just hoping all will be well for fledging, which can't be many days away :)
20:52 Another 'live' flapping fish from Laddie. NC0 managed to grab hold of this one
I've had to reset the resolution on a couple of occasions due to buffering, Scylla. Yes, let's hope the LS is ok for the first flight...whenever that may be! :)
Edit - LR1 = 51 days, LR2 = 49 days
21:25 Another 'live' flapping fish from Laddie. He landed on the nest with it and NC0 made her way from the birch to make her claim...once she could get hold of it!
