  • ANNETTE- our window cleaner appears on 23rd of every month. We started having him when we moved here in 2003 and he told us his charge was £5. We ask frequently should we pay more and he insists it is still £5!
  • OG: Oh my - that's such a deal. Good for you.
  • We had a view of the eclipse once the moon rose high enough over the suburban houses. Passing clouds hid the event several times until thick cloud covered the sky just before the full eclipse.

     Just a thought

  • Good Morning. Bright here, but still chilly.

The weekend looks promising, weather wise, which is good as its another Bank Holiday on Monday.
  • Bonnie has been back to the Vets, and now wearing her pink cone to stop her licking her foot, as it heals up. Of course, this hasn't gone down well and she is crashing into the furniture as she tries to negotiate her way around.

  • Quiet on here, I expect everyone is out enjoying the better weather today in the UK.

Sue and Toffee are getting on well and he seems to return to a whistle, so the fact that he's not used to his name yet doesn't matter too much. Sue is packing now, ready to go to our place in Wales tomorrow for a few days. Hopefully she will be able to relax there and they will both enjoy their break.
  • Lindybird;  I did respond to the man-without-a-hat but didn't stick around to click on Reply to Thread.  But that was a hoot - you do have to wonder, don't you?   Hope Bonnie's paw heals quickly and just great that Sue is off with Toffee for a fun weekend at your place.

  • OG There can't be many like that around although Bensons groomer still charges the same as when we first got him in 2013 and we knew then she charged less than many. I think she charges new customers more.

We have had such an enjoyable day. We went down to Loch an Eilein for the first time in ages and the weather was kind to us. After our walk we had coffee outside at Inverdruie and the sun came out. We then drove down to Bruar where we wanted to check out some menswear and luckily it clouded over so there was no problem leaving Benson in the car. We arrived home to glorious blue sky and sunshine and a cup of tea in the garden.
  • OH dear every dog owners nightmare but sometimes the only think to do.
