Wonderful news Clare. So happy for you both!

OG - My it has been busy at your place but pleased you are satisfied with the kitchen thus far.

Annette - I hated maths too. Did well at Junior school when we had a mental arithmetic test each week but apart from that not too good at the rest.

Saw a muscular/skeletal practioner re other knee that has gone. Given me some exercises to do but will get in touch with the doctor who does injections to see if we can go down that road first or will it be an xray. Have to wait and see what the outcome is meanwhile living with the constant achey pain, some better days than others.

Claire - that is good news so presumably he can get into the driving seat again.

He can drive when his full licence arrives.  Apparently it takes between 3 and 4 weeks for this to happen.  I'm hoping he gets it before his birthday (second week of June) - I'm taking him to Bempton Cliffs on his birthday and I know he'll be dying to drive for some of the journey.

Clare: Congratulations to Limpy! I'm happy for you both! I hope you have a wonderful trip to Bempton Cliffs. 

Thanks, Diane! We only go to Bempton yearly - it's a five-hour drive from here. To see gannets flying in formation and the multitude of seabirds on the cliffs is wonderful.
