19:03 A chance to view the eggs as NC0 changed her position
I haven't seen Laddie visit the nest since he left just before 14:30 - he was chipping while he was there but he did stop just before taking flight a few minutes after landing.
He made a short contact call to NC0 before leaving - veering off to the left and out of cam view
Just before nightcam came on at 22:08, NC0, who had been fish calling, was looking in the direction of the birch. Unsure if it was Laddie on top of the middle branch
23:10 NC0, head tucked and sleeping
23:24 NC0 took a quick comfort break
On her return, she walked quite gingerly to the nest cup before resuming incubation
Hoping that Laddie arrives at his near normal time between 4:45 - 5:00 in the morning...with a fish!
The cam faltered around 22:08*, picked up again till 00:35*, and has been buffering continually ever since. I've had to switch off the stream monitor for now.
