Arrival dates

Laddie 21.3.21

NC0 25.3.21

It has been great to witness Laddie (LM12) and NC0 renew their bond and also begin to make a safe and cosy nest for impending eggs. It is encouraging to watch NC0 much more comfortable in her surroundings and hope that all continues goes well for them both from here on in.

11.4.21: Blog - NC0 lays an egg

14.4.21: Blog - NC0 lays her second egg

17.4.21: Blog - NC0 lays her third egg

  • Thanks for the new thread Sandra and intro.

Fingers crossed NCO and Laddie settle here and for a successful season. Above all I hope there are no disturbances especially as lockdown rules are now easing.

  • Thank You for the new thread Sandra.

It has taken me 30 minutes to get into the site, and post on this thread, so is this the old go slow 1st of the month again.

    You're telling me, MARY!

NC0 was on the nest until about 20:00, she appeared to be either expecting a fish or warning off an intruder - mixed signals ;)

Laddie flew in over an hour-and-a-half ago, stayed ? 10+ minutes.

He returned over half an hour ago and waited (I'm having to cobble this due to not wanting to stop download in case of important activity) and NC0 arrived:

Laddie flew around for a successful mating:

She hung around afterwards for about 10 minutes, no-one seen since... unless something's happened while I'm typing this.

  • There is a farmer missing a big chunk of hay this morning, as Laddie (LM12) is topping up the soft furnishings on the nest.
