Absolutely delighted to have watched three precious eggs being laid. Laddie and NC0 have perfected their incubation duties and, through trying times during April, defended them and the nest from multiple intruding Ospreys. Hopefully, it will not be too long until we see three chicks being cared for by their super parents.

Laddie had a stick-fest going on today. This was his more notable one at around 14:15
Landing with it, straight onto NC0
She sat with it on her back for around 20 minutes, even did a bit of preening too! lol
It came off when she changed position
Thanks for all your posts on this nest Sandra. When does the hatching window open please?
You're welcome, Korky. Eyes peeled from the 17th according to the latest blog (link on previous page). Not long to wait now!
Here, Glaslyn and Foulshaw Moss are all due their first hatch at around the same time - it's going to get busy! lol
20:59 NC0 returned after having a flight across the Loch to, and beyond, the birch and then back to the nest
Laddie took flight
21:10 It's sounding a bit stormy
Morning all
Approx. 4:35, NC0 left the nest leaving the eggs alone, Laddie was soon there to incubate them. NC0 was back quite quickly after he had settled and she spent a few minutes on the perch before leaving to take a break
NC0 returned at around 6am and there was an exchange of duty
7:50 She continues to incubate
Must get ready for work. BFN
A headless fish was delivered at 13:45
Laddie had been on incubation duty up until 15:50 when NC0 returned. It appeared that she still had a very small remnant of fish in her left talons - this was dropped next to the eggs before she settled to incubate
