Mr Sylvestris said:Sheila was asking about the other platforms. Louis and his new female have relocated to the tree shown in this video: www.youtube.com/watch It is in the same woodland block as the camera nest, on the southern side of the Loch. It is a few Km away from the camera nest. We won't be more detailed than that. There is another similar platform quite close. Louis and his new female seem to be going between the two quite a bit but we think there are eggs on the platform shown in the clip.
Thank you so much for your generalised explanation of the locations of some of your platforms. I can only imagine how much work goes into building these platforms on the hillsides and it's wonderful to know that at least two pairs of osprey are bonding and using them, along with the eagles - I've forgotten whether it is golden or wte! I would look forward at some point to visiting the area again in the future, and look at the area with new eyes!

If I ever knew, I have forgotten which nest Pean (JH3) came from at the Loch. That was the bird unfortunately killed by the faulty power cable in Spain. There is also a JH5 marked on UK Ospreys as being from "Loch Arkaig (Private)". Ian
