... and it continues to snow, albeit not too heavily.

Such changeable weather!  The snow has stopped falling and the sun has come out, but I bet it's cold so it won't be melting in a hurry

It must have been a trick of the light, but I thought there was an inquisitive beastie appearing from behind the left perch.  It was only when it kept doing it I realised (to my embarrassment) it must be a branch from the tree, bobbing in the wind!  It doesn't show well in a still pic.

Good Morning All

Horizontal snow over night - but stopped now thankfully, but for how long is anyone's guess.

Wonder if Aila and Louis will arrive today like last year Not exactly a warm welcome at the nest but they would get one from us

A snowy wilderness . Actually hope our pair will delay their return a day or two to make fishing and nest building a little easier

It great that many of the ospreys have returned. Just wish Louis and Aila would hurry back . Arkaig is my favourite, been watching from their first year .. still time for one or both to arrive today.
