All the HISTORY of Balgavies Loch Ospreys can be found at the start of the 2019 THREAD.
It is a SWT Nature Reserve near Forfar, Angus, Scotland. There is no webcam on the nest, and there is no Visitor Centre, only a small Hide with limited car parking spaces.

The nest failed in 2020 and 2019 but the new male KR3 and Unringed female were seen at the nest last season, so lets hope they both return this season and are able to occupy the nest before the geese take residence.

Birdies LG DU update.
One thing Balgavies is blessed with Mike, is a lot of excellent photographers, which is a blessing seeing as no webcam here.
All I am worrying about just now is that KR3 turns up and there is a fight for the nest. It would be such a tragedy if the same happened to Blue YD as his father Green BF.
Thank You Sandra - the photographers at Balgavies do take some fabulous photos.
A little bit of humour today.

Balgavies also make it in the Courier Newspaper too.

Pity the Courier didn't get the information in the first photo correct, and that it was the un-ringed female on the nest Mrs.BF with Blue YD, and not his father Green BF.

One of the Balgavies photographers Ron Mitchell has posted a nice set of photos all taken at the Loch on the Facebook Page.
