Duh, it's her fish divining stick Scylla
Scant coverage as I'm in a heckuva rush to catch up with everything.
CJ7 was on 'n off the nest during the afternoon, brought sticks, it only took her a minute to find this one... oops these two:
After quite a long absence she landed on campost 18:19...
Aha! She had a fish! And landed to defend but we couldn't see any intruder and couldn't hear anyone either, even CJ7 didn't chip:
(Too busy to edit this down.)
I didn't detect her leaving for the night. No more activity found up to 05:30.
IMAGICAT
This morning 06-10:00 - a misguided effort on my part, but there were some distant birds:
It was a nasty night up to 01:30 or so:
patily said:Once again she has done a brilliant job Lets hope she gets to use it for its intended purpose
Oh please let a suitor arrive soon!
She had landed 06:16, not done a lot since (but yesterday, after a longish afternoon break, she kept going till 19:10):
After several hours of 'clunking' heard close to the microphone she returns to the nest at 12.40.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.
She leaves at 13.54.
Returns to nest........ 14:31. Hopefully these times will assist Scylla scrolling through hours of video!
