  • I see that everyone is having trouble with getting on here....

Hyacinths are coming out on the kitchen windowsill, in the beautiful sunshine we're having today. But it's still very cold - woke up to minus 2 this morning and it's only 3 degrees now!

  • Diane.... Microwave has gone to The Tip now.
  • I tried a few times but it was incredibly slow so gave up!
I'm a!l out of puff after going to my little Tesco, going to relax for a bit
  • Sending best wishes to all, have read all your news and will be back tomorrow ! I've had two really bad nights, about 2-3 hours sleep. Hoping for better tonight and to be bright eyed and bushy tailed in the morning.
  • Oh heck! Not good, Heather. I predict that you'll sleep like a log tonight because you'll be so tired.

    Hope so, anyway.
  • A board game for us all to play!

  • Lindybird: Haha.  Had to look twice to get it though...  Very clever!

AQ: Congrats on the end of your zap outings; hope the last one goes as smoothly.

Tai Chi class this morning and folks from cleaning company due here shortly to tackle the coffee that I managed to throw on the carpeting the other week. Then the mole control folks are due here Wednesday for the muddy piles on the parkway, then I'm getting a hair cut on Saturday.  Such a busy social whirl.  :-)

  • Last zap this morn. It was booked at 11.21 and of course car park was full & nearest park was 10 mins walk away in side street. As I walked to back door, someone left – if only I had been later. They were running ¼ hour late, then Nurse asked to chat in person rather than phoning me later for The Final Chat. By time I walked back to car & drove home, I was glad I told OH to get his own lunch. Tomorrow morn I have appt with surgeon, afterwards I hope to visit Fruit & Veg shop. Then in 2 weeks’ time a phone chat with Zap Doc. Such is my social life.

  • When I was your age, television was called books. (William Goldman)

I don't know how to act my age because I've never been this old before.

You know you’re getting old when you stoop to tie your shoelaces and wonder what else you could do while you’re down there. (George Burns)
