The three juveniles are thriving under Mrs G and Aran's continued care, proving once again what formidable parents they are. Long may the season continue to be be hassle-free as it nears the time for migration
Thank you for the "summary", GARDENBIRDER, I keep meaning to look it up but never think of it when I'm not rushed off my feet I did remember that MrsG should be here well into September.
04 September
MrsG(?) @ 05:54:
She moved along the fence and was joined by KC3 @ 06:05:
06:15:
Oops, I think I've cut his toenails.
06:19:
MrsG was instantly replaced by a corvid, whom KC3 menaced and, apparently, flew after.
None of the above have been downsized, I dread how they'll look after posting.
Back to normal procedures.
KC4 landed:
KC3 to perch - this is where they are now:
IMAGICAT
08:00 they were all there to receive FLOUNDER:
KC3 got it. They're still all on the nest (minus Dad) while KC3 eats:
Another FLOUNDER! ... ... ... But !!!
He flew off with it and hasn't been back as I type :-/
KC3 finished eating and MrsG nipped in and picked up the tail - which you can't see but it's here:
Aran brought back the Flounder and KC4 got it:
Aran has left and now MrsG and KC4 are frozen on the nest, waiting for ???

Eventually KC4 started eating, when she's finished and flown MrsG took over and flew with the fish right away:
Over an hour later she returned, as if something was going on that she needed to check out - she stayed for 4 minutes and flew - I thought it might just be a final visit but the event that just tooplace as I type proves that it wasn't, a waste of a video
MrsG grabbed a FLOUNDER from Aran:

KC4 was here at that time - she hung around hopefully until 12:14.
Corvids picked over the nest.
12:53-12:58 KC3 on perch and nest.
13:38 KC3 to perch.
13:56 FLOUNDER from Aran, delivery of which the cam missed - KC3 got it, KC4 stood by:
KC4 took over the fish @ 16:42, a minute later KC3 watched from the perch.
They had company on 'n off:
16:29 Aran brought a small FISH !!! KC3 took it and ate it for a while beside KC4 on the right fence:
Can't see much of it, but I'm not trying very hard:
KC3 finished the fish and flew off:
KC4 soldiered on with the tougher Flounder:
What's going on?
Aha! Aran brought what looked like half a Flounder and MrsG, who claimed it, no competition:
MrsG flew with the fish, KC4 abandoned his with not much left and a corvid took advantage:
KC4 chased corvids and flew off @ 19:04
KC3 popped to the perch for a few seconds only:
That's the last anyone was seen :)
Good morning, PATILY :)))
MrsG landed 05:58 and took off by 06:00:
You haven't got long to wait ;)
