As the season progresses, Laddie (LM12) continues to make occasional visits to the empty webcam nest, defending his area from passing intruders. It is hoped that both he and NC0 have a successful nest in the vicinity of the Loch.

Oh what a beautiful red squirrel, many thanks Mary and Scylla!
Love the juvenile Tawnies, one can never get bored with watching their antics, Scylla. The amplified sound does make the calls more defined too - brilliant!

I only did the very short clip from when they were way off in the distance, SANDRA - it would be difficult to do it on a nest scene because their close-up volume varies so much, there'd be a danger of perforating listeners' eardrums if one were not adjusting every "word" separately
IMAGICAT
Lol, Scylla!
14:27 There has been distant chipping/alarm calling for the past 5 minutes - nothing seen apart from a bug on the lens
WOW! 20:56 From the dead tree - an Osprey dived into the Loch and away!
I scrolled back a couple of minutes and an Osprey flew up to the top of the dead tree, gave a couple of calls
Waited a minute or two then...on its way down
Flight out of from the Loch

21:13ish Osprey returned to the tree, flight to it was from behind
Wings are spread here as it landed (centre of marked area)
21:35 Still there
21:45 A reflection in the Loch of an Osprey? who flew close by and veered off to the right. One still in the tree
Approx. 21:53 the Osprey in the tree flew away. As much as I could see, it went around the back of the tree, flying off the left and out of sight
