As the season progresses, Laddie (LM12) continues to make occasional visits to the empty webcam nest, defending his area from passing intruders. It is hoped that both he and NC0 have a successful nest in the vicinity of the Loch.

The raven was also back - sat on the perch for quite a while

Scylla and Mary, many thanks for the fab videos, and Richard for your ID of the little birds
I think with the way it was practising its pouncing, as well as the head movements, the Tawny was a juvenile. There could have been another behind the cam too as there were shadow movements - just wonderful!
I've scrolled back through today's footage so far, nothing seen unless I've missed something

Dang, I've forgotten the time but I think it was around 11:00 this morning - another good digging over:
And around 23:30 tonight, a brief look at the Tawny on the nest but it spent more time interfering with the cam/mike and then vocals could be heard, becoming more distant for some time:

I can't remember seeing this close up video of NC0 before - but then I can't remember a lot of things, I think it is well worth seeing again. NC0 is quite a stunning Osprey.
Lets hope that they have had chick/chicks somewhere close by on the Loch. I noticed that the Visitor Centre is not opening up yet.
Couldn't resist this
Thank you Scylla for the Tawny vid, dear thing
Mary, the close-ups of NC0 on the nest were taken in April...how time flies!
An update from Fb with regards to preparations for re-opening. What a stunning picture of the Loch!

Thank you for posting that, MARY, reminding us of what we are missing. If only she'd been quicker to learn the ropes, they may have withstood the intrusions.
Good morning all
2 Ravens were poking around on the nest at 6:45ish
