Aila and Louis' first chick hatched on Friday 29 May. Perhaps we can expect number 2 and 3 to hatch on 1 and 4 June.
May brought lots of fish, clods, shag pile, sticks, osprey and owl intruders and fame to Aila and Louis, appearing on the BBC, Channel 4 and Chris Packham's Self Isolating Bird Club Live.

Post-breakfast nap
@ 04.08 Louis emerges from the mist with a small piece of fish, his crop looked a lot fuller, so maybe he caught a fish last night after his late delivery to Aila and ate most of it but kept this piece for Aila this morning, as conditions since daylight do not look like good fishing conditions.

Sorry Geemeff I hadn't checked the previous page before I made my post. I will leave mine though as it is never a problem making posts about the same fish delivery.
I can remember the day when sometimes there would be half a dozen posts by different people about the same fish delivery especially on the Loch Garten thread.
I think your round up summary of the day is brilliant, with all the videos in one place for people to see. Many years ago there used to be a similar summary done for the LG thread as so much went on during the day it made it easier for people to find specific things. Then our dear Birdie took over the mammoth task of collating all events each day in her Daily Summary Document, sadly she hasn't had much to put in it this season.
Geemeff said:Your fish photo's better anyway, Mary, you can see more - what there is of it, that is! And your description echoes what I put in my video description - I also wondered if he caught it last night after the 22.12 delivery, there was more than an hour's daylight left so enough time to catch another one and have a good feed overnight.
-------------oooOOOooo----------------
When you go through scroll back Geemeff there has been a lot of cloud and mist since daylight, so that was why I presumed he caught it last night, plus when he delivered the late fish last night he looked like he was famished
It is not letting up any, it is getting worse - dear Aila has been in this position for around 4 hours now, this is when you see her caring side!
Louis has just delivered a fish a couple of minutes ago - couldn't really see how big it was, but looked like it was half a fish maybe
09.55, somehow Louis manages a fish. Ian
