Aila and Louis' first chick hatched on Friday 29 May. Perhaps we can expect number 2 and 3 to hatch on 1 and 4 June.
May brought lots of fish, clods, shag pile, sticks, osprey and owl intruders and fame to Aila and Louis, appearing on the BBC, Channel 4 and Chris Packham's Self Isolating Bird Club Live.

Good Morning Everyone
No visits from Louis so far this morning, weather looks miserable.
Aila spent some time on her perch
Think this is wee bob, looks close to edge, but maybe more of an optical illusion with it being dark
Dedication by Aila
I can hear a chaffinch singing close by...
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Louis arrived with half a fish @ 07.09
Can't really see how big a piece it was - despite trying this was the only peek I could get of it
All a bit soggy

Here's an FF of the little adventure:
My internet went down @ 03:13 but fortunately "something" woke me up and I saw the light on the router flashing on my way to the bathroom - it was only down for a few minutes, therefore. But it's been playing up again this morning :(
03:50 Aila rose and gave 8 alarm calls directed away from us:
She kept looking out that way between nod-offs :-*
The rest of the morning covered by MARY :)
IMAGICAT
Thanks for doing the video Scylla - it was really close when you see it in the video and when Aila got her talon stuck in the wing was excruciating to watch.
The only chick that I know of that fell from the nest and survived was Tweed Valley 2009 Blue/White LM (named Stig)
Aila and her bundle of bobs this morning
Just to prove I am here today. Let's see who can stand on one leg the longest. Ian

Morning, thanks for the vid, I did a shorter one to include the moment Aila cleverly returns into the space the chick was, forcing a move back to the safety of the centre.
Question: I thought it was Chick2 on the edge, WT chat thinks it was Chick1, Mary thinks Chick3 - is there a consensus following a rewatch? Getting so hard to tell them apart!

Geemeff, having watched again I reckon it was chick two, with chick one nearest the camera and chick three furthest away. Ian
I first thought Chick 3 when I did my capture, but on looking at the various videos this morning I would definitely say Chick 2
