Poole Harbour Osprey Project MAY to end of 2020 season

I had a tech disaster around 13:00 but have rescued what I could - which is most of it - and I haven't found ANY birds all day !!!

How considerate!  I saw the corvids yesterday but, according to me, they didn't pose up close and they didn't gloss so I didn't snap them, and didn't even check here, which I'm going to have to do now that you've started off the year in snapping mode, RICHARD!

Only the odd corvid seen today up until early afternoon, I'm waiting for the next 6 hours to finish.

One of the day's corvids with "toy", but mainly I'm remarking on the sad, flat grass - probably a large cat has been lying on it and I've failed to notice  

I had a period of disrupted internet in the evening, hopefully not missed anything significant.

Mmmm, more like a mongoose, or Egyptian Goose, even a ....... bother , those brown things mostly in Scotland and i have just literally lost it's name. Please someone fill in the space
I do like Ms Corvids toy - hoping to find a morsel in it.

Pine Marten perhaps, Cirrus? I do not know if there are any in Dorset or not--possibly made extinct there years ago...Just looked for them online. Have a look here at the Vincent Wildlife Trust website--seems there might be some in the New Forest (and that is Hampshire--possibly!): www.vwt.org.uk/.../. The map on Wikipedia has no dot in the south of England, but I expect they may not have updated their map. The VWT are the experts on Pine Martens apparently, and are involved in translocating them to other spots in the UK.

Never seen one around the Harbour, or even heard of one being seen.

I just looked at the pics I posted on the 4th Jan and the grass was flattened then.
