Beautiful female, Rutland's CJ7:
The hoped-for partner for CJ7, local male LS7, has not yet appeared. CJ has been tending the nest daily and yesterday she took everyone by surprise, producing an egg - which took us by surprise by surviving... until midnight at least ;)
IMAGICAT
Campost landing 13:24, too heavy and sharp for corvid... and took of @ 14:00 when a shower of rain came on, it didn't last long and soon dried up.
According to me there's been a very long period of "nothing to report". The night was dead still, webless and Nightjarless.
This morning there was a landing on the campost @ 09:29 but no accompanying vocal to assist us, I have been unable to detect a take-off up to 11:45.
CJ7 was on the nest twice at teatime, then she came back for some minutes on the campost:
Up to 23:39 there was no further activity of any kind, and it's looking a very still night again so far.
Another still, eventless night. This morning the colour had "gone wrong" again - I wonder what triggers that?
Rectified @ 10:18:
This is what's on our lens - not too bad, considering :)
Nice dense colour:
But faded for the standard view - probably to reduce bandwidth, ie cost!
That's it up to 12:02, and the next clip didn't start until 12:16
That's down to my software's behaviour these days.
It was wet all afternoon into evening:
Nightcam
Quite entertaining
Up to about 22:45.

Super, thanks SHEILA
I had nothing to report since my last report up until gone 6 o'clock in the evening
18:13 Wood Pigeon - it had been on the perch and I could have done several views but plonked for one only.
This has been treated with artistic licence, so be quiet all of you
Then, at18:55, this little thing darted from one side to the other with a pause in the middle-ish...
You can see where artistic licence gets me, I can't even make them the same colours
Then !!!
Disappointingly there was only a bit of "clucking", and most of that we couldn't hear until I upped the volume, then the background noise had to be downed and that distorts sometimes but this isn't too bad.
That's up to just after midnight. Goodnight!
Richard - can you help please. I posted asking for identification but no replies yet....
