Beautiful female, Rutland's CJ7:
The hoped-for partner for CJ7, local male LS7, has not yet appeared. CJ has been tending the nest daily and yesterday she took everyone by surprise, producing an egg - which took us by surprise by surviving... until midnight at least ;)
IMAGICAT
There were feet on the campost @ 09:36 but they didn't belong to the juvenile Jay (whom we've seen before, I remember someone telling me it was a juvenile) who turned up for a short hop around later. I had to narrow down to investigate why a stick jumped :)
Up to about 12:45.
Birds of Poole Harbour video from yesterday's co-ordinated osprey count.
Nice they included your video Alison!
04 August
There were cambumps that needed investigating but when I tried to I found that the sound was very glitchy, it was like it nearly all the time. No-one was seen on the nest.
The scene @ nightcam:
Demolition (meal ;) ) time:
Just prior to daycam we could only see the bottom of the new web: under construction:
It's been mostly not glitchy this morning but no-one seen up to 09:00.
This still from yesterday's video by BoPH shows the branch by the cam pole that CJ7 obviously uses.

CORNISH STONECHAT
Lots of visits to "favourite perch", a really nice view.
It's Twitter, so the tweet might disappear at any time.

I should have explained - after all, not everyone is here every day! I did it because a Stonechat (male and female, actually) have visited this nest a lot, but of course it doesn't show up at its best on a low-res cam. More than anyone, I need to learn what they really look like ;)
