Beautiful female, Rutland's CJ7:
The hoped-for partner for CJ7, local male LS7, has not yet appeared. CJ has been tending the nest daily and yesterday she took everyone by surprise, producing an egg - which took us by surprise by surviving... until midnight at least ;)

I'll be doing a video but at the moment am distraught over all the dropouts today and other network probs
Up to the first dropout of this clip she's been on the nest for half an hour, nestorising and just standing :-*

Is that as in 'stood standing' scylla? :-)

It sure was, KORKY, and you can tell what a state I'm in for not specifying that crucial fact
She was back for another long session @ 12:36:
Again, it cut out before she flew, so I'm having to record from rollback on one of the networked laptops that I won't be able to access to copy it over here for editing, so it's going to have to be a hook-or-by-crook job but I haven't worked it out yet.
OK, right, so... (whichever the modern intro is, but even the BBC is going with "so"):
First visit mid-morning, the final scene is very low-res because it was screen-captured on a small portion of screen, from rollback - and if you're wondering what the white fuzz at the bottom is, it's covering up ©Leics&RutlandWildlife, dang.
I've got to upload the next missing portion (from the noonish visit) to YT and download it onto here, so's to access it. I might watch a movie to calm down.
How wonderful that she's been seen on a couple of days. If they do indeed have this year's translocation its great to know she is still around to welcome and 'mother' them

Just a fly-thru, with a mere touch of the perch-tip:
Samples of the splashes thrown up on the left side:
I've only just noticed that I posted this in Glaslyn yesterday.
I did a slide show of CJ7's second visit, which was another long one. Only the slide/video has copied over - I did say something in response to SHEILA above but can't remember what it was.
Last night's Nightjar (and a bit of spider) activity:
Maybe the same bird as yesterday? Same time, it stayed for 15 minutes:
I've tried to check some cambumps but they've been a bit dubious and probably breeze-induced. Only up to about 16:30.
