Beautiful female, Rutland's CJ7:
The hoped-for partner for CJ7, local male LS7, has not yet appeared. CJ has been tending the nest daily and yesterday she took everyone by surprise, producing an egg - which took us by surprise by surviving... until midnight at least ;)

Birdies LG DU update.

No good, MIKE, I've only just seen your alert. I had trouble with a 6-hour clip covering yesterday evening and part of the night, it wouldn't "finalise" thoroughly so was flashing all the way thru. Now it's too late for rollback too - so unless anyone else has it...
Not that it's much compensation, but our STONECHAT did a little singing on the perch this afternoon, arriving @ 15:55
I've upped the volume and downed the background noise umpteen times, it's very slightly better than live :(
It was back again for a shorter stint @ 17:03:
That's all I've found up to 18:08.

Probably one of these, who were on the nest twice and one may still be on the campost - they don't make much of a bump coming 'n going. No time to do a video yet. (According to me they're Wood Pigeons but an expert might see a variation leading to a different ID.)

They were on 'n off from 07:00 to 08:40 but there's more to check. Wooing was going on, unfulfilled.
I don't have an ounce of energy for a video so here's a feather-snap ;)
