Beautiful female, Rutland's CJ7:
The hoped-for partner for CJ7, local male LS7, has not yet appeared. CJ has been tending the nest daily and yesterday she took everyone by surprise, producing an egg - which took us by surprise by surviving... until midnight at least ;)
IMAGICAT
Oops, lots of catching up to do!
I'll keep noting the Stonechat so we can see how far into/out of the year it stops coming :)
Long period of shape-changing "LG phenomenon" overnight 16/17 June:
I think this was spider-related:
17th
Another misty morning - a late shot chosen for the trees in contrast:
It got mistier before it cleared:
05:44 Windows Update, 7 minutes missing therefore :(
08:31 CJ7 landed on campost with a short clang and short chirp. I've just mentally lost the takeoff time, no sighting.
There was another landing that sounded duller, no vocals, then...
11:15 with quiet "alarm chirps" - evidentiary audio
I make it that she took off @ 12:45.
.
I hope I would have found her without ALISON's report, but you never know
CJ7 with fish, only stayed a couple of minutes IMHO:
Stonechat landed 16:11 and 16:19:
No overnight visitors, no morning mist:
Great catch up Scylla - thank you!
Alison - You did well to get any screen shot at all from the fish passing by, it was so fast and to the edge of the screen.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Birdies LG DU update.
Up to 10:44:
Continuing the 18th
It bucketed down with rain.
Query Blackbird ???
Eased off after 15:00.
Rained all evening with varying intensity:
19th
07:44 the cam went down, according to me. No visitors or suspicious cambumps seen up to that point.
It's been up 'n running again for about 20 minutes.
Morning Scylla
Definitely a male blackbird
Brekkie time for me now

Thank you, MARY & RICHARD :)
Nothing to report up to 06:05, except it was a dry, still night.
