Alia departs with fish in talons.
No she doesn't - in her beak.

Cathy, do you think that is a new fish or the large pike from earlier? Ian
PS - for anyone wanting snaps or video, Louis had a nice fly past just before he brought it back at 17.04. Aila flew with it at 17.07 after letting Louis eat some of it on the nest.
19.26, Louis flies off the nest calling. About a minute or so later an osprey (presumably Aila) flies across the front of the nest and Aila arrives at the nest shortly after. 20.24, Louis comes to the nest with a stick and takes over incubation. Ian
Fish delivery as per Ian's description above
I'd say it was the same fish, same colour and tail
At least she looks dry tonight
Good Night everyone - tomorrow is another day closer to hatching day

And landed on Aila with it:
No video this morning, unless there's a spectacular overnight event...
... ... ...
No, it was a peaceful night - Aila had an on-nest bathroom break/wing-flap and later a flyabout.
This morning Louis flew in @ 04:52 with a small stick and a smooth changeover took place. He's looking well, IMO :-*
IMAGICAT
That makes a change.....Louis is sitting in sunshine
